Travarus, son of Timothy and Bessie Hayes, was born October 22, 1991 in Tallahassee, Florida.  He confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Elder Mark J. Wilkerson, and he was a member of the Old Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Havana, FL, where he served faithfully as a choir member for a number of years.

Travarus attended Leon County public schools. He was employed at Applebee for many years and worked at Marphan in Tallahassee, Florida.

He was a compassionate person and had a kind heart filled with love and was known to many as a very affectionate and caring person.

Travarus is preceded in death by his grandparents, and several uncles and aunts.

He leaves to preserve and cherish his memory: his parents: Timothy and Bessie Hayes; two daughters:  Rilee Lashay Hayes, Amiyah Nova Hayes, and one unborn daughter; one brother: Timothy Lawrence Hayes, Jr; eight aunts:  Elouise (Johnny) Lowe of Gretna, Florida; Janie Gurley, Ossie Gurley; Sandra G. Harrison, Anita Gurley; Linda (Wilbur) Smith); Shelia Butler and Cassandra (Herman) Smith, Jr. (all of Tallahassee);  five uncles:  Johnny Gurley (Tallahassee), Clinton Gurley (Glenda) (Havana); Gary Gurley (Connie) (Tallahassee); Anthony Gurley (Tallahassee) and Dexter Gurley (Alicia) (Cairo).  He also leaves a loving and caring fiancé, LaQuaysha Franklin and three Goddaughters: Kay'leigh, Kinli Fuller and Zerie Crenshaw (all from Tallahassee), and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his beautiful memory.
