The Life and Legacy

Ruby Mae Brown transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior at Lake City Medical Center on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the age of 80. Ruby was born October 07, 1940 in Live Oak, Florida to the late Charlie and Viola Brown. Ruby was the youngest of seven children.

Ruby attended Suwannee County Schools and she found the Lord later in life, she attended Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was an active member. Preceding her in death was one daughter, one brother, and five sisters.

Ruby leaves to cherish her love and memories, her loving children; Horace Brown (Patricia) of Tallahassee, Florida, & Ruby Mitchell (Mitchell) of Live Oak, Florida. Her beloved grandchildren; Antonio Brown, Maishea Brown, Latasha Brown, Tamekia Brown, Leann Powell (Jermaine), Rebecca Roberson (Andra), Wilbert Jones Jr., Richard Jones (Jalasha). Five special bonus grandkids; Ingra Langan (John), Andrea Horton, Shane Mitchell (Kenya), Tieyone Mitchell & Teresa Mitchell. She leaves to cherish in her fond memories 19 great grandchildren, one sister-in-law: Glady's Brown of Jacksonville, Florida. Devoted family: Willie James Siplen, Rosa Polite, Ethel King and Lucile Nealy. A host of sorrowing nephew, nieces, cousins, and other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
