Marjorie Miller Emanuel was born in Leon County, Florida on December 14, 1946, to the late William Miller Sr. & Isabella Miller and was affectionately known as Margie. At an early age she accepted Christ, and became a member of the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Havana, Florida.

Marjorie later married the love of her life Roy Lee Emanuel Sr., they where blessed with three children, Franklin, Gregory and Cleoretha.

Marjorie leaves to cherish in her memories a son: Gregory Miller; three grandchildren; DeMarquis Hendrix Sr., Jasper Emanuel and Keyshonna Hendrix; three great grandchildren: Noelle, Brison and  DeMarquis Hendrix Jr.; three brothers: Robert Miller, Jimmy (Diane) Miller and Freeman (Joyce) Miller; a devoted niece: Sharon Blocker; her roommate: Angel Oglesby; a close friend/neighbor: Lloyd Smith; her devoted caregiver; Shirley Cain and the staff at Elite Care; alone with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Majorie now joins in heaven the beloved husband Roy Lee Emanuel Sr.; her parents; her daughter: Cleoretha Emanuel Hendrix; granddaughter: Wisteria Hendrix; brother: William Miller Jr. and her sister: Mary Louise Blocker.
