Mrs. Leila Mae Clay born April 21, 1929, was a resident of Valdosta, Georgia, transitioned to be with her Heavenly Father of August 12, 2020, at the West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, Florida. Mrs. Clay was a long time resident of Jasper, Florida until her health began to decline. She was a devoted nurse until she retired.

She leaves to cherish seven children: Mae Irene Collins, Thelma Williams Brunson, Bernard Walker, Frances E. Gambles, Vivian Walker, Tina Phil Walker, and Cristina Walker. A host of grandchildren, great-grands, nieces & nephews, relatives, and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her late husband the Rev. Eddie Clay and two of her beloved children.
