Curtis D. Douglas was born July 16, 1956, to the late Capers Douglas, Sr. and Daisy Douglas. He was the oldest of five children. He married Gloria Douglas on June 18, 1982. Curtis confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He attended New Jerusalem M.B. Church under the leadership of Reverend William M. Maxwell Sr. He was a faithful member and continued his membership under Pastor Julius R. Harris until his health declined. Curtis was a 1974 graduate of Havana Northside High School.

Early on Tuesday morning, February 14, 2023, Curtis answered our Heavenly Father's call, "Son, you have finished your course".

Forever cherished in his Fund memories: his beloved wife, Gloria Douglas; children, Curtricia Douglas, Charles (Sharae) Jackson, Kimberely (Demetric) Peterson, Tameka Jackson, Jerrial (Tashun) Jackson; goddaughters, Jasmine Spencer and Dawn Dupont; silbings, Cynthia (Carter) Hickman, Blanche (Michael) Williams, Allen (Lisa) Douglas, Capers Douglas Jr., Bridgett Chandler, Herbert (Izabela) Douglas, Larry Douglas, Brenda Douglas, & Shaw Douglas; he also leaves to cherish thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Floral Arrangements can be sent to the funeral home on Friday or delivered to New Jerusalem M.B. Church in Havana on Saturday morning.
